Description
This is a copper pendant inspired by the art from Agalloch's album "The Serpent and the Sphere". I wanted to make this since the album came out but I only started working on it since March (I posted a photo detail of it when I started) and managed to complete it somewhere in the middle of August (there was quite a long break between making the general shape and actually wrapping it with the thinner wire).
I am glad I managed to finish it and despite this being the first piece of jewelry I made after more than a year, I think it turned out fine (there are some asymmetries here and there but I don't mind them that much, I just need more practice).
I went to a festival where Agalloch was having a concert a few days after the pendant was finished and I was wearing it and I actually met John Haughm - vocals/guitar - and he said the pendant was awesome and I was very happy about that (here's the photo with him: scontent-fra3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/h…) Their concert was amazing, I've been waiting to see them live for 8 years and I was very glad I did
